IDA Education Awards - Process

  1. Please ensure that all the eligibility criteria are met.
  2. IDA-EA nomination categories and entry details will be announced through the IDA website, a personalized e-mail, and digital marketing campaigns on the IDA’s social media handles to prospective nominees in all proposed categories.
  3. Awards details and nomination forms can be found from the IDA-EA website.
  4. All entrants must submit their entry online.
  5. All entries are to be made by the legal owner/head of the institute and are required to submit nominations with required details and supporting material latest by 31st August, 2018.
  6. If the entry is not submitted by the legal owner/head of the Institution then the submitter must have permission to submit the application on behalf of the Owner/Head (for example consultants working on behalf of entrants, marketing or PR departments).
  7. Besides academic achievements of the students, the entries should demonstrate innovation, imagination and efforts to develop students in ways that go beyond the realms of a classroom education.
  8. The following details MUST be a part of your nomination:
  • Details of the Nominee and nominating Authority including; Name, Designation, Name of the Institute/Organization and Contact information (postal address, Telephone / Mobile, Email)
  • Number of years the Institution have been in operation
  • Number of employment positions in the organization
  • Nature of responsibilities – Administration and Teaching Staff
  • Awards and Recognitions received by the organization (individual and as a group)
  • Testimonials – three written– submitted by a third party as reference. At least one video testimonial to be included.
  1. You will need to upload high-resolution logo of the institution along with your nomination form. Also a high-resolution photograph of the Head of the Institution (whosoever would be attending the award ceremony to receive the award). The same shall be used if shortlisted for marketing materials during the awards ceremony.
  2. If you wish to include a video as supporting evidence, you will need to supply a web link to where the video is hosted.
  3. Nomination forms are checked by the IDA-EA audit team for eligibility, completeness and data correctness. Nominees may be asked to rectify mistakes, if found any, and also provide supporting documents, wherever required.
  4. IDA-EA team of analysts shall make a presentation for the IDA-EA jury – with analysis of performance metrics of the Nominating Institution.
  5. IDA-EA jury, comprising of distinguished personalities in the field of education, global higher education experts and Industry leaders, will score based on their assessment of the nominees.
  6. Decision of the jury will decide the winners and is final.

The final names will be announced at the gala IDA-EA ceremony on 4th October 2018 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi with the annual congregation of The International Education & Skill Summit (TIESS) from 4th – 6th October 2018. It is pertinent for all nominees to attend. If the representative from the winning educational institution is not present at the ceremony, the award shall be given to the next shortlisted nominee scoring the second highest score in the same category.
